We can undertake an ergonomic vehicle assessment to check if a vehicle is or will be suitable for a driver.
1. The aim of the assessment is to reduce actions and postures which may cause driver discomfort and fatigue. This type of assessment is also very useful for drivers of different physical statures (anthropometrics) who may be sharing their vehicles with other drivers. Drivers will be shown how to adjust their vehicles to suit their body's anthropometric measurements and maximise comfort.
2. We can also look at other vehicle related activities such as the use of laptops, mobiles, satellite navigation devices as well as looking resting postures, the loading and moving of any equipment and the driving frequency and duration periods.
The standard assessment will take 45-60 minutes. A comprehensive written report with recommendations, photographs and anthropometric measurements is included.
